We ask that you arrive and settle in by 5:00 PM on the 16th.
At 5:30 PM, we will gather for our opening orientation that gently ushers us into the retreat space. This shared beginning sets the tone for the journey ahead, aligning our energies and intentions as we step into presence together.

At 7:00 AM, we begin with a gentle entry into the day through neurofeedback and meditation. These sessions will start short and gradually deepen into continuous, immersive experiences, designed to rewire patterns and awaken presence. We will be there, guiding and holding the space energetically, helping you drop beneath surface noise into a direct experience of peace.
After a nourishing breakfast, we dive into a potent morning lecture from a carefully chosen teacher whose wisdom mirrors the day's theme. These teachings serve as gentle signposts—reminders that your awakening is not only possible but already unfolding.
At 11:00 AM, we step onto the mat for Hridaya Hatha Yoga, a meditative movement practice that opens the body and quiets the mind. We will move with you, demonstrating how we embody stillness in motion. The yoga flows effortlessly into a silent meditation, where your inner stillness deepens further.
Lunch at 1:00 PM is followed by time to rest, walk in nature, journal, or simply integrate. This retreat values integration as much as insight.
By 4:00 PM, we return to meditation and neurofeedback, refining awareness and gently illuminating what was once hidden. These sessions are designed to help you experience the depth of your consciousness, not as a concept, but as a living truth.
Dinner at 7:00 PM is followed by our evening spiritual discourse and Q&A, a treasured part of our day. Each night, we will offer a heart-centered talk, weaving ancient wisdom and modern insight into the themes that most stir your soul. This is a time to ask, to share, and to receive. It’s in these circles that we break through.
We close each evening with a guided meditation at 8:30 PM, entering sleep in peace, connected to the most profound truth within.

My journey has been shaped by my upbringing in a Sufi community and two years spent in a Sivananda ashram diving deeply into the paths of the mystics and honoring enlightened beings of all paths.

Sitara Van Block is a Transpersonal psychologist (MA) with 37 years of psychology practice, 34 years as a yoga teacher, and practiced meditation as a Hridaya yoga teacher. She is a life long Sufi, who shares the deep wisdom of all spiritual practices.

Are meals available at this retreat center?
This retreat is all inclusive and all meals will be provided!
What types of accommodations are available?
We offer double occupancy rooms, a hermitage, and camping options designed for comfort and minimal environmental impact. Sign-up early to get your first choice!
What do I pack?
Bring comfortable clothes with layers, hiking boots, a rain jacket, and wool socks.
How do I get to the venue?
We look forward to seeing you soon! Two weeks before your arrival, we will send out a survey to find out where you are coming from and what your food allergies/needs are, so that we can coordinate efficient and effective ways to get here.
Getting to Dragonfly Ranch:
We are expecting a full house with this retreat and have limited parking so it is very important that we coordinate carpooling or alternative places to pick you up.
For people coming from out of town, we can make this very easy for you: from Denver International Airport, take the AB bus to BOULDER downtown station. Then, it is a gorgeous bus ride up the canyon to NEDERLAND. We will meet you in Nederland at designated times to pick you up.

How can I offset the impact of traveling by plane?
Our equipment will help offset any jet lag you are experiencing and keep your oxygen levels up while you are here so you can get the most out of your experience.

Nestled in the forest, our retreat venue is a cozy and tranquil residence designed for both relaxation and renewal. You will stay in comfortable rooms, available in single, twin, double, or triple configurations.
Bathrooms are shared with other guests. Bed linen and towels are provided, allowing you to travel light and focus entirely on your retreat experience. We will practice yoga outside on a beautiful deck next to a babbling brook, surrounded by tall trees.
Please bring your meditation cushions and other props. We will have some available for those traveling a long distance to join us.
